In 2019, Roger Melcher (vocals and harmonica) and Roland Meyer (guitar) from "Winklepickers" joined forces with Jacques Bock (drums) and Jacques Ruppert (bass) from "Crossroads," later joined by Mulles Scholtes (guitar) from the "Convertibles." Thus, the new Luxembourgish "supergroup" was formed: "The Horse Blinders."

They play energetic, intelligent, and entertaining rock-blues-pop with lyrics in Luxembourgish. Roland Meyer, Prix Servais awardee and well-known cabaret artist and writer, delivers pointed lyrics and original compositions.

Their first CD, "... an nach ee schéinen Dag," was released in 2023, featuring songs like "Hierken oder Mettwurscht," "D’Buurschter Plage," "Komm sich déi Krëppeng," and "De Kinnek vum Facebook."

The band has since welcomed Ron Mullenders on bass. In 2025, the album "Raufaser" was released with 10 brand-new songs, each dedicated to a Luxembourg city. During their big tour, they perform these new anthems and are regularly joined on stage by Noémie Leer, Candy Windeshausen, and Daniel Eischen.
