The Apartments + Stranded Horse & Boubacar Cissokho
After more than forty years of a unique and demanding trajectory, The Apartments return in spring 2026 for a European tour around their eighth album, That's What the Music Is For. Founded by Peter Milton Walsh, the Australian band continues to weave a singular work, combining melodic elegance with luminous melancholy. On stage, Walsh will be joined by Tim Kevin (keyboards, guitar, vocals) and Jeff Crawley (trumpet, percussion): fans of evocative music will recognize this as a rare opportunity to see a group that has become, over time, a true reference in the independent scene.
Stranded Horse & Boubacar Cissokho is a French-Senegalese duo where the folk guitar of Yvan Taloche (Stranded Horse) meets the kora of Boubacar Cissokho, heir to the griots. Their music, both intimate and expansive, blends poetic lyrics and Mandinka traditions, exploring exile and cultural encounters. A rare alchemy between two voices and two worlds.
