Repair Cafés are volunteer meetings where participants fix their broken items together with others: IT hardware & software, furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothing, bicycles, mechanical devices.
For touch screen/smartphone devices, services are generally limited to diagnostics and advice. It is recommended to have these devices repaired by specialists in the field.
Good to know
If you have skills in electronics, woodworking, mechanics or sewing, contact us to support the Repair Café or help with the organization.
Before you come:
– Check the power supply, batteries, cables and general condition of the device.
– Clean or maintain the device (filters, descaling, etc.).
Please bring:
– All the items needed to test or repair the item (coffee capsule, DVD, charger, cable, manual, remote control, cables for TV connection, spare part etc).
Warning: There may not be competent repairers for some items on the day of the event.
