Children and Costumes at Forum Casino!
Carnival holiday workshop with Johanna DeSantis, designer and seamstress (AtelierSpatz, Luxembourg). Inspired by images from exhibition catalogs, various characters, avatars, alter-egos, and costumes invented by artists exhibited at Casino Luxembourg over the last 30 years, children will create costumes, accessories, and gestures for their own imaginary character. The workshop ends with a small dance party. Johanna has created costumes for children's museums such as the Young V&A in London, as well as for children's theater troupes, ballet dancers, and films.
Good to know
Children should bring an old t-shirt (child or adult size) as a base for the costume and possibly leggings.
