In 2007, renowned French actress Juliette Binoche and British dancer-choreographer Akram Khan put their respective careers on hold for seven months to collaborate on the creation of a hybrid performance entitled In-I. Featuring exclusive footage from rehearsals and performance excerpts, In-I in Motion reflects on artistic risk-taking and the transformative process inherent in creating a work that tests and pushes physical and emotional boundaries. With no voice-over or commentary, Binoche's directorial debut provides an authentic glimpse into the creative process of two exceptional artists, confronting their emotional and physical limits. A remarkable testament to artistic experimentation.
