Portugal, a few years after the Carnation Revolution: Rosa, a young actress, joins a clandestine far-left group disillusioned by post-revolution Portugal. They share political opinions and a daily life that brings them closer together, but their idealism clashes with the country's transformation and a police operation targeting them. The group soon faces a dead-end path marked by robberies, friendship, prison, love, and death. A subtle political thriller, where revolutionary ideals crack under the weight of compromise and personal betrayal, Projecto Global depicts the price to pay to keep believing—or clinging—to a cause that is slowly losing its original meaning.
