In 2093, Kuve, an aspiring filmmaker, is shooting a documentary about the Great War of the 2070s, which ended modern technology and allowed the kingdoms to be reborn. In Umata, he discovers a village that has found peace, where he expected to find traumas related to the war. There he meets Mumbi, who shows him the beauty of everyday life. With complete originality in form and tone, "Memory of Princess Mumbi" claims a joyful and creative freedom, proving that strong cinema can be born from limited means. Funny and inventive, the film shifts perspectives and creates essential missing images.
