A big party in a Brooklyn warehouse turns into a nightmare when a zombie apocalypse breaks out in the middle of the night. Amid rivalries, budding friendships and flamboyant eccentricities, a group of drag queens, club kids, and artists must put aside their quarrels and join forces to survive… and fend off the brain-hungry undead.
Queens of the Dead combines a flamboyant zombie world with queer and drag culture, adopting a festive, supportive, and humorous tone. Here, horror becomes a way to assert resistance and collectively celebrate all differences.
