France, 1974. One year before the adoption of the Veil Law, Annie, a factory worker and mother of two children, crosses paths with the MLAC – Movement for the Freedom of Abortion and Contraception. In this group, which openly performs still-illegal abortions, she finds solidarity, mutual aid, the transmission of knowledge, and direct action. By engaging in the fight for abortion rights, Annie discovers much more than a struggle: a new purpose in her life.
