Buergbrennen is above all a warm and friendly moment of community gathering. The Boxclub Esch, Escher Volleyball Club, the local firefighters' association, and the "Diables Rouges" Scouts join forces to organize this ancestral tradition and vibrant community festival, meant to ward off winter and evil spirits. The evening also features mulled wine and other refreshments, as well as a variety of snacks.
