The Cercle d’Histoire invites you to the first conference in its 2026 series. The evening will be hosted by Bertrand Dondelinger, who will discuss the theme: "Le Pays d’Arlon: From Language to History". Le Pays d’Arlon is defined by the language and Germanic culture of its population, introduced in the second half of the 3rd century by the Franks from the Rhine region. For nearly two millennia, Le Pays d’Arlon has occupied a special position at the meeting point of Romance and Germanic cultures. On this occasion, the Cercle's new book will be available for purchase: "Si le Pays d’Arlon m’était conté".
