Patrick Kuhn seeks through his photographic work a reality never seen before, a reflection or clue of something deep within himself. Melancholic or filled with explosive joy, his works—outdoor photographs—reflect an interiority expressed in unique images of nature perceived through a filter, with shifted perceptions of reality.
His multiple visions of the Botanical Garden of Metz and elsewhere, composed over more than twenty years, and his subsequent work capturing paths or plunging views of our local rivers, all bear witness to a desire to leave reality and be drawn into a sublimated vision of the world.
