This temporary exhibition offers an interactive and engaging exploration of waste, environmental challenges, and (over)consumption. The importance of both biological and technological cycles is also highlighted. In the biological cycle, organic matter can decompose and be returned to ecosystems. In the technological cycle, materials are transformed, reused, or recycled. Through objects, installations, and educational displays, the exhibition highlights the imbalances that arise when these cycles are disrupted or poorly managed—especially by consumption patterns that accelerate waste production without allowing for its reintegration. The exhibition invites visitors to better understand their individual role in these material flows and to consider practices more consistent with the functioning of biological and technical systems. “It’s better to reuse than to consume”: a principle that encourages us to extend the lifespan of objects and to integrate our consumption habits into more sustainable cycles.
