"Itinerancy" Exhibition by Adrien Belgrand
Through figurative and narrative painting, Adrien Belgrand captures the banality of daily life, from intimate interiors to vast panoramas, bringing out their softness and light. His work updates classical genres—landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes—which he discovered from a young age during visits to major museums.
Drawing on his own recomposed photographs, the artist contrasts the meticulous slowness of his painting technique with the constant flow of digital images. The precision of detail and mastery of color give his universe both a familiar and dreamlike quality. His panoramic works turn ordinary moments into visual stories that invite contemplation and the viewer's imagination. This exhibition, spanning twenty years of creation, is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of the modern world through an intimate and universal perspective.
