The Le Dahu à Cinq Pattes gallery and about thirty resident artists welcome sculptor Jean-François Laurent for his exhibition "Secret de patines".

Sculptor since the 1970s, Jean-François Laurent has worked with wood, stone, and ceramics before dedicating himself to bronze. He creates his works using the lost-wax technique, mastering every stage of creation, from modeling to casting, to patina, which he considers the true garment of the sculpture.

His deeply humanist work draws inspiration from the study of humans, the body, posture, and movement, to evoke an emotion both subtle, dense, and essential. With "Secret de patines", the exhibition invites visitors into a world where matter preserves the memory of gesture and the surface reveals as much as it hides.
