Yalil is an incredible collective energy that will make Syrian and Middle Eastern music resonate on the Esplanade of Metz. For the anniversary of 15 years of Passages in Metz and 5 years of the Transfestival, Yalil, created in Metz in 2019 by about fifteen Syrian music lovers, today brings together enthusiasts from various backgrounds. Through songs, percussion, and strings, Yalil revisits the lyrical and folk heritage of the Middle East in a vibrant music, carried by texts full of memory and transmission. Yalil weaves a link between cultures and underlines that, in the face of violence, music remains as a message of peace and fraternity.
