Embark on a new adventure at the Maison de la Nature et du Tourisme: Fauna and Flora! This unique venue, designed to be adaptable, features a three-part exhibition: Geology, Fauna and Flora, and Environment. Following the success of the Geology series featuring Tic-tac-tic the ammonite, it’s now time for the Fauna and Flora series, with a new mascot: Ding-dong, the barn owl! This series invites young and old alike to discover local biodiversity through plants, flowers, animals, and insects. A fun and educational immersion in the heart of nature! PROGRAM & ACTIVITIES for learning while having fun - Draw an animal from an engraved plate - Survey biodiversity using scientific techniques like transects or quadrats - Assess water quality - Identify animals and insects using colored filters - Immerse yourself in the sounds of nature - Test your senses with blindfold games - Color Ding-dong, scan your drawing, and watch it fly away in a film above the Hettange-Grande National Nature Reserve.
