On 15 May, Palestinians and Arabs commemorate the Nakba, the "catastrophe" that marked the mass displacement, dispossession, and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. But the Nakba is not only a historical event. It is ongoing, and we witness its violence and consequences every day in Gaza and across the West Bank.
Join us on 9 May to commemorate the Nakba and to reflect on the continuing struggle for Palestinian refugee rights, forced displacement, and restrictions on movement under an ongoing system of dispossession.
After the film screening "A depopulated Camp", a live panel discussion with Milena Ansari and Lubnah Shomali.
