Berthe Brincour (1879-1947). An artist beyond norms and time
Next summer, the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart will present the first major retrospective of Luxembourgish painter Berthe Brincour (1879–1947), a pioneering yet overlooked figure. Nearly 80 years after she bequeathed her entire body of work to the state, much of it remains unexamined and has never been shown in full. Thanks to ongoing research and restoration, the museum now brings her expressive, modern art back into view and secures her place in Luxembourg’s art history.

Opening on 4 June 2026 at 6 pm. Information about price and admission to be announced.
