Created especially for the museum as part of the historical and artistic Women in Conflict exhibition cycle, the WOMEN IN WAR by LYNSEY ADDARIO exhibition highlights, through a female lens, the realities of war for women and children, focusing on their condition and survival in conflict zones. This retrospective offers an immersion into over twenty years of work by the American photojournalist Lynsey Addario, with images taken in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine. Visitors are invited to explore these territories, following themes of women's condition in wartime, motherhood, survival, dignity, and resilience in the face of violence and destruction.
