In the footsteps of Mansfeld

Among the country's major historical sites, the Mansfeld site is the youngest, having only emerged in the last fifteen years. It includes the remains of the castle and gardens as well as the landscape created by the governor of the Duchy of Luxembourg, Count Pierre-Ernest de Mansfeld (1517-1604). Like other great nobles at the Brussels Court, Mansfeld used art and architecture to serve his glory.
