Beatrice Berrut enchants us with her recital "Abracadabra!". From the famous Danse macabre by Saint-Saëns, arranged for the keyboard by Liszt, the pianist casts a spell on us and continues to mesmerize with the astonishing Triomphe Funèbre du Tasse by the Hungarian master. Her book of spells holds more treasures, such as her incredible transcription of the Andante from Mahler's Symphony No. 6, where the Austrian countryside resonates through her piano. As a good fairy, Berrut is an accomplished composer, as shown by her Polaris and Céphéides, inspired by the music of the stars. The program concludes with Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, made famous by Disney's Fantasia. A recital that will delight dreamers and magicians of all ages.
