While the general public will always associate him with the choreography for the Albertville Olympics opening ceremony in 1992, Philippe Decouflé has continually reinvented his art, uniquely combining dance and circus apparatus, body extensions, and various influences.
In Entre-Temps, he brings together people of all ages, including great performers (notably the exquisite Dominique Boivin) and amateurs, to explore a variety of genres, with majorettes alongside Madonna, music-hall with folk dances, Barbara and Gloria Gaynor!
It is a retrospective of the artists and eras that have influenced him—a slightly nostalgic but thoroughly joyful celebration of his masters: Hitchcock and Glass, Buster Keaton and Fellini, Bausch and Larrieu.
