Sous Terre is an immersive dive into the mysteries of the underground world, blending caving exploration and poetic archaeology. Through documentary stories and portraits of characters fascinated by the underworld, the show brings together visual arts, object theatre, music, and video. The stage becomes a construction site filled with drawings, miniatures, stones, rust, testimonies, and a large symphonic drum, while the camera, sometimes a headlamp, sometimes a microscope, reveals unsuspected details. Between raw realism and dream, Sous Terre asks: when we dig, what do we find at the bottom? A sensory experience, both intimate and spectacular, where each layer reveals more secrets hidden beneath our feet.
