Whether from prestigious manufacturers or the skilled and refined work of experienced artisans, this expertise, recognized worldwide, is a boundless source of ever-evolving creations. From Lunéville to Saint-Clément, including Sarreguemines, Niderviller, Badonviller, and the faïencerie of Toul-Bellevue, ceramics from the Grand Est region have deeply influenced the history of the decorative arts. Major figures of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, such as the Mougin brothers, Émile Gallé, Charles Fridrich, Victor Prouvé, and Géo Condé, contributed to the renewal of this Lorraine expertise. Their works testify to a rich heritage that has been continually reinvented. Beyond regional historic pieces, the Abbaye des Prémontrés invites you to explore this artistic and technical field through the works of contemporary ceramists, both established and emerging, representing traditions or current experimentation.
