Let yourself be carried away through Gothic Europe on a musical journey to the heart of the Middle Ages, performed by the ensemble Into The Winds. Founded in 2017 by five young musicians playing shawms, bombardes, recorders, bagpipes, trumpets, and various percussion instruments, the ensemble invites you to discover the richness of medieval repertoire. From troubadour songs to the first polyphonies of cathedrals, from knightly tournaments to princely courts, the program brings to life the fascinating sounds of a world where music accompanied both celebrations and moments of contemplation. This program immerses you in the soundscape of the Middle Ages with period instruments and texts.
