Pipes have their ways is an air-powered sound installation that uses common industrial materials: garden hoses, PVC pipes, ventilation hoods. It invites the public to produce sounds collectively, in an experience that is at once sensory, playful and social. The project revisits the heritage of opera and the techniques of the traditional organ through a contemporary and open approach, where mechanics become a space for experimentation and encounter.
