A European journey through sacred music with the greatest composers of the 17th century, at the height of expressive Baroque, showcasing passions much like in Racine's theatre or the works of Caravaggio or Bernini. Works by Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz, Henri Dumont, Isabella Leonarda, and Henry Purcell. Performers: Louise Decreux (soprano), Maé Ettioutiou (recorder), Eliette Rugiero (mezzo, harpsichord, recorder), Jean-Christophe Frisch (chalumeau bassoon, harpsichord).
