Lost Giraffe

Following the bankruptcy of Toys “R” Us, one of the costumes of the famous toy-store chain mascot was acquired by Brent Birnbaum. Now an unemployed mascot, the giraffe leaves its familiar world to wander the streets of Nuremberg, Germany, as part of the performance “Lost Giraffe”. Galerie PJ presents photographs produced during this performance, along with a short film by filmmaker Byon Von based on footage shot during the performance. The film extends the performance and reinforces its message.
