States of Motion is a site-specific installation that approaches photography as a process of movement, mapping and spatial recording. It brings together large suspended analogue photographic works made without a conventional camera, through direct exposure to light, gesture and movement. Installed in a shop window, the translucent elements create changing relationships between image, architecture, reflections and public space. Depending on the configuration, the installation may also include the two-channel video Frame of Time and suspended plexiglas sculptures.
