Ready to hunt down the best food spots in Luxembourg? π΄β¨
We’re taking you into the delicious world of Sheyla, founder of the food blog Passion Meets Creativity, as she reveals the hidden gems from her personal address book π.
On the menu: her favourite restaurants, her top food picks and those little gems that absolutely deserve a spot on your “must-try ASAP” list (yes, the one that’s already overflowing… but that we happily keep adding to anyway π).
Food lovers, take notes!

WHERE TO GET A GOOD BREAKFAST?
Taking the time for a breakfast is always a good idea βοΈ(especially when it becomes a real excuse to get out of bed). For Sheyla, there is an address that transforms a simple morning into a little moment of gourmet happiness!
Glow, right in the heart of the Bonnevoie district, a 100% vegan address. Sheyla falls for the generous toasts, ultra-fresh bowls (açaí, granola, or porridge) and especially… the cinnamon roll which she considers the best in the Grand Duchy. Yes, just that π.

LIKE AN URGE TO BRUNCH
You too, sometimes, have a strong urge to brunch tickling your taste buds right from the morning? π₯
Sheyla whispered an address to us... and we can tell you one thing: the desire to go brunch there is definitely present!
We present to you Bröd, a charming Scandinavian café located in Limpertsberg! Breakfast is served all day long. On the menu: specialty coffee, matcha, pressed juices, ginger shots... but also delicious creations, including two that have left their mark. Apparently (according to a reliable source π), there you would find the best avocado toast in the capital and the best cardamom roll in the Grand Duchy (but shh, it's a secret π€«).

WHERE TO SAVOR A GOURMET LUNCH?
For Sheyla, lunch is sometimes an invitation to travel π. A desire to escape among colors, flavors, and scents from elsewhere… without a plane ticket, just with a good address. Her two favorite gourmet spots will make you travel… heading to Asia!
First stop: Nam Cà Phê, a freshly opened Vietnamese café in Luxembourg, on rue des Bains. A place where authentic Vietnamese street food is invited to your plate! The star of the house? The delicious bánh mì, crispy and generous, accompanied by a Vietnamese coffee that packs a caffeine punch!

Second stop: Manzoku π, a Japanese restaurant located in Hollerich. The specialty of the house? Ramen!
The noodles are made on-site, the broth simmers for hours, and the best local ingredients meet flavors imported directly from Japan. Result: a generous bowl, ultra-delicious and terribly addictive π.

WHICH TERRACES ARE MUST-TRY FAVORITES?
According to a theorem that is still unexplained (but is applied very seriously), the best moments are savored with a pair of sunglasses on the nose, ice cubes clinking in the glasses, and a small dose of UV on the skin.
So, to help you adhere to this essential summer rule, Sheyla shares with you her two favorite terraces for chilling, tasting, and enjoying (yes, life is sometimes a question of timing... and a good terrace).
First stop: L'Hêtre Beim Musée . A little birdie tells us it is THE most beautiful terrace in Luxembourg City! A brasserie-restaurant located right next to the Lëtzebuerg City Museum and a stone's throw from the Grand Ducal Palace.

The second, needs no introduction... It is certainly the trendiest in Luxembourg City: Um Plateau, of course! A hybrid place between a restaurant and bar, where you come just as much to have a drink in the sun as to nibble on some small sharing plates or settle down quietly for a real meal.

WANT A LITTLE GOURMET TREAT?
The little pleasures of life, they're important, aren't they? Pleasure is often on the plate, as they say! So, to have a great time, here are two gourmet gems that will make you fall in love!
Let's start with The Little Bakeshop, recently opened but already on its way to becoming a true institution in Luxembourg City. A small paradise for those with a sweet tooth.
Sheyla's little weaknesses? The chocolate pecan nut cookie... πͺ and the brownie, which she considers the best in the capital π€

The second... ah, the second π. It seems that their Basque cheesecake is the creamiest and most delicious in the city. Drumroll... π₯ Here is Aupa! A true burst of good mood and positive energy in Bonnevoie.

WHERE TO TOAST FOR APERITIF?
The "apéritif," very important, is the time of day when you cannot go wrong! Especially when it's about enjoying the summer season βοΈ
Luxembourg is full of really cool places, that's a fact. Spotlight on a selection of stunning bars to sip a few drinks. Sheyla, your favorites? π
Mikrokosmos β¨: here, we nibble on the sun, sip some Crémant, shake our bodies to good music, flirt with nature, culture, and good little dishes… and all this under the open sky!

The Gudde Weather: a summer terrace "under the cornice" located 300 meters from De Gudde Wëllen. This flamboyant place, well-known among locals, has built a solid reputation thanks to its numerous events: concerts, projections, conferences, electronic evenings, and performances. A spot where you come to chill, clink glasses, enjoy the beautiful days... and let the evening decide what's next π

THE RESTAURANTS WHERE SHEYLA LOVES TO DINE
Le Fin Gourmand, in Hollerich, for its mussels and beef tartare. After that, we also don't say no to its tuna trilogy! At the helm, Chef Gérard Szele shares his passion with his son Nicolas. Their secret? Fresh products, creative recipes, and lots of love β€οΈ
Rucolino, in Dudelange! A vegan restaurant that offers classic French brasserie dishes, Italian pasta, and revamped burgers. An engaged cuisine, plates full of character, and zero compromises on pleasure!
Le Café Bel Air at… Belair! π For no-fuss burgers but with a lot of character. A true spot for burger fans who like to indulge with gourmet recipes that are out of the ordinary. Here, we stack good ideas… and steaks π!

THE RECIPE THAT INSPIRED SHEYLA THE MOST
Sometimes, an address doesn't just make us want to go back... it also makes us want to recreate a small piece of magic at home β¨
For Sheyla, the recipe that inspired her the most comes from Fleur, the founder of The Little Bakeshop, well before the opening of her small coffee shop. The idea? To recreate this little moment of gourmet happiness at home, even when we're not around (because we wouldn't want to wait to be in Luxembourg City for a cookie craving, would we?).
This favorite address, combined with the inspiration from the New York Cookie shop, gave birth to this ultra-gourmet chocolate and pecan nut cookie recipe πͺ
