So far, the two saleswomen, Gina and Nicole, have led a quiet life in the "Grande Étoile" shop. There were never many customers, except for the regular visits of Mr. Watgen, who never bothered them.
The presence of Mme Josette, who strictly watches over the toilets, was no problem either. Only an occasional "air-con mishap" caused a bit of excitement.
But now, things are changing: Carsten Maschmaurer, on behalf of Mr. de Grande Étoile, must put an end to the store's losses. He keeps a close eye on the two saleswomen, who must come up with a plan to prove they are excellent saleswomen if they want to keep their jobs. Gradually, they realize that Maschmaurer has his own plans.
But Mr. de Grande Étoile himself, with the help of the two saleswomen, foils his schemes.
