Until now, the two saleswomen Gina and Nicole have led a quiet life at the "Grande Étoile" shop. There were never many customers, and apart from the regular visits from Mr. Watgen, no one bothered them.
Even the presence of Mrs. Josette, who vigilantly guards her toilets, was never a problem. Only a brief "climate fuss" causes a bit of excitement.
But now, the peace is over: Carsten Maschmaurer, on behalf of Mr. de Grande Étoile, is there to put an end to the shop's misery. He closely observes both saleswomen. If they don’t want to lose their jobs, they’ll have to come up with something to prove they are great sellers. Gradually, we find out that Maschmaurer has other plans as well.
But in the end, Mr. de Grande Étoile, with the help of the two saleswomen, turns the tables...
