In the Middle Ages, humans lived in close harmony with the animal world, filling their songs with real or surreal creatures. Drawing from the Cantigas de Santa María and Italian repertoire, the ApotropaïK ensemble explores this forgotten connection. Between hunting onomatopoeia and marvelous fables, the four musicians enhance the sounds of flutes, harp, and lute. For this complete show, the quartet collaborates with a scenographer and an illustrator. A poetic immersion where our ancestral bond with living beings comes alive before both young and old.
