A travelling exhibition designed and curated by d-o-t-s (Laura Drouet and Olivier Lacrouts) and produced by Bridderhaus (Esch-sur-Alzette). Featuring works by Francisca Álvarez Sánchez, Valentin Bansac & Alice Loumeau, Merve Bektas, Merle Bergers, Pablo Diserens, Kato Herbots, Locument & Grandeza Studio. Earthbound. Worms, Soil, Decay invites visitors to discover the world beneath our feet, its complexity, dynamism and ecological importance. Soil is a living system: decomposition regenerates organic matter, returns nutrients to the earth and supports new life cycles. The exhibition highlights the threats facing earthworms and other soil inhabitants, including intensive agriculture, pesticides, fertilisers and soil sealing. The artists and designers encourage active participation in soil preservation and regeneration.
