This travelling exhibition, conceived and curated by d-o-t-s (Laura Drouet and Olivier Lacrouts) and produced by Bridderhaus, invites visitors to discover the world beneath our feet, its complexity, dynamism and ecological importance. Soil is a living whole: decomposition regenerates organic matter, returns nutrients to the earth and enables new life cycles. Yet earthworms and other soil inhabitants are threatened by intensive agriculture, pesticides, fertilisers and urban development. The artists and designers featured draw attention to the health of underground life and encourage the preservation and regeneration of soils. The exhibition’s first iteration was held in 2025 with Aglaë Miguel, Vincent Orts and Dano Zoutman.
